First, explore the metropolis of Vancouver from the business district to trendy Yaletown, followed by a glimpse into the city’s mixed native, European and Asian cultures in the T & T Asian Market, legendary Chinatown and historic Gastown. Then, discover the thriving residential area know as the West End as you head into Stanley Park to see the famous West Coast totem poles.

Guests will travel over the famous Lions Gate Bridge to the North Shore for a visit to the tranquil setting of the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge. Then you will continue to the Capilano Salmon Hatchery, where you will learn about the life cycle of the Pacific Salmon. The grand finale will be a walk through the Coastal Rainforest of the Capilano Canyon, where you will indulge your desire for knowledge and discover lichen, moss, ferns and flowering plants, which grow under the mantle of Douglas Fir, Cedar and Hemlock trees.

A stop will be made during this excursion for lunch at a gourmet Vancouver restaurant.

Different Faces of Vancouver (4-hours) Discover West Coast living as you explore Vancouver’s downtown sector, which includes the West End residential area with the highest restaurant density and the best views. Glimpse the city’s mixed native and European past in Stanley Park and historic Gastown. The tour continues to the Capilano River Canyon where you will experience the magnificent Rain Forest Adventure. Venture through Chinatown where the intriguing sights and fragrances come alive as you see into the centuries-old herbal culture of a Chinese pharmacy and admire the beauty of the jade, ivory, china and silk of the Orient.

Day Tour to Victoria by Van and Ferry (10 to 12-hours) Enjoy a private tour of Victoria and area, which truly lives up to its title as the ‘City of Blooms’! Your day begins with a short drive to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal where you will embark on a scenic ferry ride through the spectacular Gulf Island to Vancouver Island.. Watch out for wildlife as you can occasionally see whales, seals and seabirds in the Straight of Georgia.

Upon arrival in Swartz Bay, you will continue on the world famous Butchart Gardens, which offers 50 acres of flowers and formal gardens. Stroll through the Sunken Garden featuring the magnificent Ross Fountain, pause to absorb the fragrance and beauty of the charming English Rose Garden, and then move on through the Japanese Garden, the Italian Garden and the Show Greenhouse. Stop to enjoy a gourmet-boxed lunch prepared for you by an Olympic Culinary Chef.

After lunch, continue on to downtown Victoria, home to the Royal BC Museum, the Empress Hotel, the Parliament and Chinatown. Enjoy a scenic driving tour along Victoria’s coastline along scenic Marine Drive past an authentic Tudor seaside hotel, Victoria’s premier golf course and Beacon Hill Park, and see the posh neighborhoods of Uplands and Oak.

Return to Vancouver by late afternoon. Comfortable shoes and layered clothing are recommended. One option you might choose is to return to Vancouver by floatplane or helicopter (either charter or scheduled), which will save you about 1.5-hours of travel time.
